Our Vinalhaven, like the Sedona... incorporates all the best features from each of our display cabinets... but it is larger in every way. Designed to hold from 8-10 acoustic and electric guitars, this cabinet will stage and protect your finest instruments. The Vinalhaven sports our “wide-access” double door entry that is free from structural obstructions… allowing for the most convenient placement of your guitars within the cabinets generous interior. The cabinet has a footprint of approximately 61” wide by 23” deep, and stands about 87” high. Graceful arched openings on 3 sides are glazed with safety glass, and allow an abundance of ambient light to enter the cabinet. An optional low-heat, LED illumination system is also available. Our Vinalhaven Guitar Cabinet is outfitted with our highly regarded rail and trestle support system. It provides for optimum separation and spacing of the guitars along the length of the interior, and every contact point with the guitars is felt padded. The exceptional aesthetics of this cabinet come from its austere form, the warmth of the materials, the artistry of the details, and its highly functional base cabinet. The detachable base cabinet features drawer to cradle both smaller instruments and accessories. The lower storage bays are large enough to house smaller amplifiers... and are enclosed with hinged doors for easy access. This base cabinet also serves the user well by bringing the guitar compartment to a more comfortable and accessible height. The added height allows greater visibility of the guitars from anywhere in the room... seated or standing. Every one of our cabinets is crafted by artisan grade cabinetmakers. They are also musicians, and understand the sensitivities that owners of fine instruments often possess. As artists, they know how to present a guitar “just so” to maximize its position within the cabinet’s interior so that the instrument’s beauty can be fully appreciated. Standard woods for the Vinalhaven include cherry, walnut and red oak. The cabinet pictured here is crafted with the optional choices of a cherry/birdseye maple combination, and a mirrored back-panel. Each cabinet is carefully dressed with our signature hand-rubbed oil finish. Additionally, Vinalhaven’s include a reliably simple, safe and effective passive water reservoir humidification system to help maintain the proper environment for your prized instruments.
